Remove screws
On the 400' mag remove the 10 screws and place them on the table in the same pattern as they came out. Some mags have different length screws in different holes, not all mags are built the same.

Remove cover plate
Remove the cover plate and place face down (grease up). It's a good time to clean the old grease from the plate.

200' Mag has nuts
On the 200' Mag two of the screws are attached to nuts inside the mag, take the mag cover off and hold on to the nut as you unscrew.

Inspect the mag
Inspect the mag, check to make sure all the teeth are on the gears and not rounded off. This mag was very dry with little or no grease left in it.

Fly away spring
Watch out for this little spring it's the one thing that can and will fly out especially when your blasting it with compressed air. Move the leaver and spin the gears to make sure they rotate freely, they are about to move a lot more easier.
